Lets say we want to merge cells A2 and B2. In this case, the content in the upper-left cell is kept and all other content lost. Using this option, you can merge two or more cells into one. The last option in the Alignment tab is Merge & Center. To do this, (1) select a cell with text (A2), then (2) go to Home > Alignment, and (3) click on Wrap Text.Īs you can see above, the text is split into two rows and fits the cell width. Since theres enough height in the cell, lets wrap the text onto two lines. In cell A2 the text is only partially displayed, as there is no enough space in the cell to fit the whole thing.
